Mr Internet Explorer, you need a royal thrashing with the browser stick…
If you are using Internet Explorer get off my site now and install firefox.
Today I spent the best part of 5 hours debugging a simple menu for a client and I swear, if i had seen Mr Gates walking down the street I would have slapped him silly. That time, plus an uncountable stupendous amount of time debugging other sites was lost in unbillable heaven. Gone.
Mr Internet Explorer, I’ve got better things to be doing with my time.
This has brought me to my next idea: I’d like to sue mister microsoft for loss of earnings. I think its quite fair to say that I lose around 25% of my time making things work for his abomination of a browser. Its also fair to get that time/money back by suing Microsoft. If we get 10,000 web developers to throw $10 in a jar, we could get it to court and have a right good time of it with the media. It would probably be thrown out quite quickly, but media coverage of our frustration would help speed along the death of IE6.
