I’m a certified EE addict…
Yeah, I know what you’re thinking… Iain has developed a nasty habit and needs to go to rehab.
Nah, I haven’t lost it, I’ve only just got started. Today I just got my application back from EllisLab and I’m over the moon to be part of the ExpressionEngine Professionals Network. Go me.
What are the perks? Only time will tell but I feel great to be on a developer network listing iconic web development and design agencies such as Happy Cog, Veerle, Mark Boulton, Airbag Industries, 31three - I could go on. I’ve still got a long way to go, I’m not saying that my work is comparable to these people, I just look up to them a lot and aspire to be that good. Baby steps eh.
I first started using ExpressionEngine in early 2006. The first time I downloaded it I got so lost, it was so different to the usual CMS options that were affordable out there. I just kept learning, and tweaking, and reading, and trying till eventually I fell in love (sad, i know.) I’m really stoked to be part of the Pro Network, and to be doing what I am now.
Any other ExpressionEngine folk out there in New Zealand?

EE is very addictive eh, when the lightbulb moment comes, there is no looking back.
I’m really looking forward to checking out Barcamp.
