I submitted this letter in response to an article submitted to the local rag about the performance of the local economic development agency:
Dear Mike Mansell,
regarding your column that appeared in the Whangarei Report,
June 12, 2008:Don’t be an arse.
The easiest thing in the world is to sit back and criticise others whilst not offering a way forward.
Please, if you are going to be so arrogant, at least explain how you would do things differently. Don’t bask in the glory of telling off the mediocrity that is created from nit picking, finger pointing, penny pusher losers such as yourself.
How can anyone, whos position is paid for by rate payers be expected to perform when eagle eyed, stiff necked pheasant pluckers such as yourself, stamp on anything that moves.
Really, I beg you, lay the path and we shall follow, otherwise piss off and leave those who are entrusted with making progress alone.
