I’ve slowly been learning PHP over the last couple of years, mostly doing simple things like creating variables, includes, mathematical operations and the like. It had to happen sooner or later… For the first time in yonks I’m doing some professional development without using google, or reading the manual, or trial and error, or emailing someone, or getting a nerd to do it..

To celebrate spring, I’ve redeveloped iain.co.nz.

Probably my largest project to date, marinenz.org.nz has finally gone live. I’ve been building this on my spare time for a conservation trust with a very, very limited budget. Still needs a lot of work but I’ll try and get cracking on the V2 layout as soon as the content is finalised.
